Steve Waters is a member of the Digital Advisory Board at BayPine. Since 2010, Mr. Waters has served as Managing Partner & Chief Strategy Officer at Thinktiv, a value creation consulting firm at the intersection of product/AI strategy, go-to-market, and business model architecture. Working with nearly 200 companies during this time—ranging from idea-stage startups to emerging growth and middle market businesses to the world’s largest enterprises—he has been instrumental in defining digital-centric strategies that accelerate profitable growth.

During his time at Thinktiv, he has acted in Investor, Advisor, and Board Member roles for numerous software-centric businesses, including category leaders such as OJO Labs, Aceable, ALTR, Shopatron, and Energytics.

Prior to Thinktiv, he spent 20 years in C-level strategy and marketing leadership roles at leading software businesses including Trilogy, RightNow Technologies, Firepond, and others.

He earned his Bachelor’s degree in Organizational Behavior from Stanford University in 1990.
