David Roux is a Managing Partner of BayPine. He is the Co-Founder and former Co-CEO and Chairman of Silver Lake, the world’s largest technology-focused private equity investment firm. He is widely considered to be one of the technology industry’s leading investors and has extensive experience building dynamic growth organizations. Prior to Silver Lake, Mr. Roux held leadership roles at Oracle, Central Point and Lotus Development. Early in his career he worked at a series of successful technology startups and founded Datext, which was later acquired by Lotus.
Mr. Roux co-founded Silver Lake specifically to build a sector-specific private equity fund aimed at under-exploited investment opportunities in the burgeoning technology segment of the economy. He believes in the massive potential of helping “old economy” companies take advantage of the best of the “new economy” via a comprehensive digital transformation program. With the creation of BayPine, Mr. Roux is returning to his entrepreneurial roots to help build an innovative private equity firm suited to this opportunity set.
Mr. Roux currently serves as Chairman of Jackson Laboratories and on the boards of Boston Scientific, Bristol Seafoods and The Institute for Health Metrics and Evaluation at the University of Washington. He previously served on a wide range of boards of directors. He holds an AB from Harvard College, an M.Phil from Cambridge University and an MBA from Harvard Business School.
Anjan Mukherjee is a Managing Partner of BayPine. Mr. Mukherjee spent most of his career in the private equity area of Blackstone, where he was a Senior Managing Director and a member of the Investment Committee. He also served in the U.S. Department of the Treasury as Counselor to the Secretary and Deputy Assistant Secretary for Financial Institutions. As an independent sponsor, he has been involved with multiple significant investments.
Mr. Mukherjee has two decades of private equity experience during which he was involved with a wide range of high-profile transactions. He has been responsible for leading investment teams in multiple industry sectors, including pharmaceuticals & life sciences, chemicals, aerospace & defense, technology services and transportation & logistics. He had a broad portfolio of responsibilities at the U.S. Treasury pertaining to financial institutions policy and global financial markets.
Mr. Mukherjee has served on a large number of public and private boards of directors, has been active with various nonprofit organizations, and has spoken at a wide range of conferences and seminars. He holds an AB from Harvard College and an MBA from Harvard Business School.
Wan Ling Martello is a Founding Partner of BayPine. Ms. Martello has spent most of her career leading executive teams and organizations in the consumer products and retail industries, and has significant expertise in B2C technology-enabled business models and digital transformation. She has held leadership roles at Nestlé, Walmart, NCH Marketing Services (a former subsidiary of Nielsen), Borden Foods and Kraft Foods.
During her time at Nestlé, Ms. Martello served first as Global CFO, where she revitalized the global finance organization, established a new data-driven resource allocation and portfolio management framework for the entire company and completed numerous M&A transactions. She was then appointed as CEO of Nestlé’s Asia, Oceania and Sub-Saharan Africa (AOA) business in 2015 and re-focused the entire business on driving growth and using digital transformation initiatives to drive greater consumer engagement. Under her leadership over a three-plus year period, Nestlé AOA shifted from underperformance to becoming a growth engine, and was the most profitable segment within Nestlé with a revenue base of $22 billion.
Ms. Martello sits on the boards of Alibaba Group and Uber Technologies. She is a member of the Committee of 100, a nonpartisan leadership organization of prominent Chinese Americans in business, government, academia, science and the arts, and she has appeared on Fortune Magazine’s list of the Most Powerful International Women on several occasions. She holds a BS from the University of the Philippines and an MBA from the University of Minnesota.
Marius Haas is a Founding Partner of BayPine. Mr. Haas has spent most of his career leading executive teams and organizations in the technology and enterprise solutions industry, and has significant expertise in digital transformation, emerging technologies and B2B technology-enabled business models. His career includes leadership roles at Dell Technologies, Hewlett-Packard, Compaq and Intel Corporation. He has also served as an industry advisor to KKR’s technology investment team.
Previously, Mr. Haas served as President and Chief Commercial Officer of Dell Technologies, which had over $90 billion of revenue in fiscal year 2020. Mr. Haas played an instrumental role as a senior operating executive in the take-private of Dell in 2013, the subsequent integration of Dell, EMC and VMware in 2016 and the strategic transformation of Dell from a commodity PC supplier into a leading provider of strategic technology infrastructure and managed enterprise solutions. Mr. Haas has been widely credited by colleagues and industry observers for his central role in the successful integration of EMC and VMware and the multi-year digital transformation of Dell.
Mr. Haas serves on the board of Westlake Chemical, where he is overseeing the petrochemical manufacturer’s digital initiatives. Mr. Haas holds a BA from Georgetown University and an MBA from the American Graduate School of Global Management.
Brian Frank is a Founding Partner of BayPine as well as the Founder and Managing Partner of Declaration Partners, an investment firm anchored by the family office of private equity veteran and philanthropist David M. Rubenstein. He has held leadership roles at MSD Partners, the family office of Michael Dell, and Harman International, a Fortune 500 developer of audio and automotive infotainment systems. Earlier in his career he held roles at Cumberland Associates, W.R. Hambrecht + Co and Lazard Frères.
Mr. Frank has established a career as a thoughtful investment professional and a builder of high-performing investment teams and organizations. At MSD Partners, he established an in-house energy practice that invested over $1.6 billion of family office and third-party capital across asset classes: public and private equity, credit and commodities. His investment performance, team-building skills and broad-based network ultimately earned him the opportunity to establish Declaration Partners.
Mr. Frank currently serves as a board member of Enstructure, Redesign Health and viagogo and previously served on a number of boards across a range of industries. He is a member of the Council on Foreign Relations. He holds an AB from Harvard College and an MBA from Harvard Business School.
Stephen Ko is a Founding Partner of BayPine. Mr. Ko has spent most of his career in the private equity industry, principally at KKR, where he was most recently a Managing Director and head of the firm’s Consumer & Retail investment team in the Asia-Pacific region. Previously he was a member of KKR’s North American private equity platform and also held roles at Blackstone, Clayton, Dubilier & Rice, and Goldman Sachs.
Mr. Ko’s investment experience has been distinguished by a combination of thematic investing, creative transaction structuring and operational value creation. Over the course of the last 25 years, he has been involved with numerous high-profile investments at several of the world’s leading private equity firms. He has successfully executed multiple transactions in the consumer, healthcare, industrial, business services, energy and technology sectors, across an extensive range of company situations, transaction and financing structures, and geographies including the United States and Asia.

Andrew Goldfarb is a Partner of BayPine, where he focuses on healthcare investments. Mr. Goldfarb has spent nearly all of his career in the private equity industry focused on control-oriented private equity investments. Most recently, he was a Partner of Declaration Partners, and prior to that he held roles at JLL Partners, The Carlyle Group and Merrill Lynch.
Mr. Goldfarb has extensive transaction experience overseeing all aspects of the control-oriented investment process. His investment experience spans take-private transactions, transformative M&A, corporate carve-outs, divestitures, bolt-on acquisitions, financing transactions and exits. While at JLL, he worked across a variety of sectors including healthcare, financial services, building products and business services, and had a leadership role in many of the firm’s highest-profile transactions including nearly all of its healthcare investments. While at Declaration, he oversaw the development of the firm’s healthcare investing framework, which was predicated on digital disruption and transformation across the healthcare ecosystem.
Mr. Goldfarb currently serves on the board of ConcertAI and previously served on a number of boards, primarily in healthcare. He holds a BA and MS from Stanford University and an MBA from Harvard Business School. He is a CFA Charterholder.
Tom O’Rourke is a Partner at BayPine. Previously, he was a Principal at Bain Capital, which he joined in 2008 and where he was a member of the North American Private Equity team. Most recently, he worked in the Consumer and Business Services verticals, where he was a member of the senior leadership team and evaluated and executed investments across a broad spectrum of industries, including auto services, consumer health, retail, and travel & leisure. Prior to that, he worked in the Healthcare vertical, spanning opportunities across the healthcare ecosystem. Mr. O’Rourke began his career at Goldman Sachs as an analyst in the Private Equity Group covering a variety of industries across primary, secondary, and direct investments.
Mr. O’Rourke serves on the Boards of Penn Foster and Mavis. He holds an AB from Princeton University and an MBA from Harvard Business School.
Farhan Siddiqi is an Operating Partner at BayPine. Over the last twenty years, Mr. Siddiqi has driven some of the most visible and successful digital transformations in the consumer sector. Previously, Mr. Siddiqi served as the Chief Digital Officer of Ahold Delhaize, where he reported directly to the CEO and drove digital transformation initiatives across the company’s twenty brands. Additionally, he served as the interim CEO and Board Member of Fresh Direct. Prior to Ahold Delhaize, Mr. Siddiqi held key leadership positions for global, complex organizations like McDonald's, Bank of America, and Target.
Farhan carries significant experience in profit and loss management, strategy planning, business development, and product development across the e-commerce, financial services, digital payments, high-tech, and consumer industries. Earlier in his career, he was involved in software development, distributed computing architecture, e-commerce, and mobile solutions, and worked for technology startups and consulting companies. He has served on various leadership boards, including the Executive Committee for Ahold Delhaize, Fresh Direct, the American Chamber of Commerce (AmCham) in the Netherlands, and Alliant Credit Union.
Additionally, Mr. Siddiqi serves as an advisor to Greylock Partners’ CXO council. Mr. Siddiqi holds a BS from the University of Kansas and an MBA from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business.
Charles Rayner is a Managing Director at BayPine. Previously, he was a Principal at Declaration Partners, which he joined in 2017. Prior to that, he was on the investment team at Marble Arch, a value-investing hedge fund, and Conatus Capital, a fundamental equity-focused hedge fund. Mr. Rayner began his career in the Private Equity Group at Blackstone. Over his public and private equity career, Mr. Rayner has invested in a variety of industrial sectors, including aerospace & defense, construction materials, distribution, manufacturing, security, and related software & services. Mr. Rayner currently serves on the board of New Frontier Materials. He holds a BA and BS from the University of Pennsylvania and an MBA from Harvard Business School.
Jessie Wechsler is a Principal at BayPine. Previously, she was a vice president at AEA Investors, which she joined in 2017 and where she was a member of the middle market private equity team. During her time at AEA, Ms. Wechsler focused on evaluating and executing AEA’s investments in the consumer, retail and tech-enabled services sectors. In addition to evaluating new deals in these verticals, Ms. Wechsler has extensive experience working alongside management teams to execute transformative business plans, bolt-on acquisitions, refinancings / restructurings, and public market exits. Prior to her time at AEA, she was an associate at Bregal Partners, a consumer-focused private equity firm based in New York and held positions early on in her career at BlackRock Alternative Investors and Goldman Sachs. She holds an AB from Princeton University and an MBA from Harvard Business School.
Michael Thomas is a Principal at BayPine. Previously, he was an Associate at Madison Dearborn Partners, a leading private equity investment firm based in Chicago, which he joined in 2015. During his time at MDP, Mr. Thomas evaluated potential investments in businesses across a broad spectrum of industries, including telecom, media and technology services, basic industries, consumer, business and government software and services, financial and transaction services and healthcare.
Mr. Thomas began his career in the Investment Banking Division of Morgan Stanley where he advised clients across the industrial, automotive, consumer and media sectors. He holds a BBA from the University of Notre Dame and an MBA from Harvard Business School.
Lincoln Lamberton is a Vice President at BayPine. Previously, he was an Associate at Thomas H. Lee Partners, where he worked in the firm’s consumer and healthcare verticals. Emily Osman Lawrie is a Vice President at BayPine. Previously, she was an Associate in the Investment Banking Division of Barclays, which she joined in 2015. Most recently, she focused on leveraged buyouts, mergers & acquisitions and equity issuances across sectors within the Global Financial Sponsors Group. Ms. Lawrie began her career at Barclays in the Debt Capital Markets Group. She holds a BA from Fordham University.
Sabrina Castenfelt is a Vice President at BayPine. Previously, she worked at Altor Equity Partners in Stockholm, within the firm’s consumer and business services verticals. Ms. Castenfelt started her career at Goldman Sachs in the Merchant Banking Division in New York and London. She holds a BA from Harvard College and an MBA from Harvard Business School.
Andy Cook is an Associate at BayPine. Previously, he was a Senior Associate Consultant at Bain & Company. During his time at Bain, Mr. Cook worked with clients in several industries, including private equity, technology, and industrials. William Lederer is a Senior Associate at BayPine. Previously, he was a Private Equity Associate and Analyst in the Infrastructure Group at Blackstone. During his time at Blackstone, Mr. Lederer focused on buyout transactions and minority investments in the transportation & telecommunications sectors. Joseph Vukel is an Associate at BayPine. Previously, Joseph was an Analyst in the Private Equity Group at Ares Management, where he worked across several industries and spent meaningful time in tech-enabled services, software, and education technology. Joseph currently serves on the board of EdMobilizer, a non-profit that aims to broaden access and success for first-generation college students and hosts the annual 1vyG conference. A Sidney E. Frank Scholar, Joseph holds a BA in Sociology from Brown University.
Rob Jackowitz is a Partner and the Chief Financial Officer at BayPine. Most recently, he was the Chief Financial Officer of Declaration Partners, and prior to that, he was a Partner and Managing Director at Pine Brook Partners, a New York-based growth equity firm where he oversaw the firm’s finance, operations and compliance functions.
Prior to Pine Brook, Mr. Jackowitz was Treasurer and CFO of ESL Investments and Senior Vice President and CFO of Harvest Partners. Earlier in his career, he spent seven years with Schroders across various divisions.
Mr. Jackowitz currently serves on the board of Steward Partners Holdings as well as on the New York PE/VC regional board of the Financial Executives Alliance. He holds a BA from The George Washington University and is a Certified Public Accountant.

Leigh Rovzar is a Partner and the General Counsel and Chief Compliance Officer of both BayPine and Declaration Partners, which he joined in 2018. Prior to that, Mr. Rovzar was a Senior Vice President and Co-Head of the Legal Department at Magnitude Capital. Earlier in his career, Mr. Rovzar served as an Associate at Wachtell, Lipton, Rosen & Katz and as a Vice President in the Acquisitions Group at Walton Street Capital.

Emily Henry is a Partner and the Head of Investor Relations at both BayPine and Declaration Partners, which she joined in 2019. Prior to that, she was Chief Operating Officer and Head of Investor Relations at Reservoir Capital. Prior to Reservoir, Ms. Henry was a member of the Corporate Strategy team in the Barclays (fka Lehman) Investment Management Division. Ms. Henry began her career at Merrill Lynch, where she was an Analyst in the Investment Banking Division and a Principal in the Global Private Equity Group.

Erika Glass is the Director of Firm Administration at BayPine, which she joined in 2019. Prior to joining BayPine, she held various operations and administrative roles at PillPack (acquired by Amazon), Bain Capital and SVG Advisers. Early on, Erika embarked on a career as a music teacher at several Boston area schools. She holds a BM from Berklee College of Music.
Laura Salmon is a Controller at both BayPine and Declaration Partners, which she joined in 2021. Prior to that, she was a Senior Accountant at Centerbridge Partners. Ms. Salmon began her career as a FSO Assurance professional at EY. She holds a BS from Cornell University.
Jayna Montalvo is the Senior Accountant of both BayPine and Declaration Partners, which she joined in 2022. Prior to that, Mrs. Montalvo spent 16 years as a senior accountant / treasury associate at Vestar Capital Partners, a leading U.S. middle-market private equity firm specializing in management buyouts and growth capital investments.
