Nikhil Bhat is a Partner of BayPine. Most recently, he was Co-Head of Investments and a member of the Management Committee at Vestar Capital, where he created and led the firm’s Business & Technology Services vertical.

With nearly 15 years of private equity experience, Mr. Bhat has led transactions and investment teams across a wide range of sectors, including commercial, industrial, information, and tech-enabled services.

Prior to Vestar, Mr. Bhat worked at Advent International. He began his career as a consultant at Bain & Company. Mr. Bhat holds a BS in Economics from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania, where he graduated magna cum laude, and an MBA from the Stanford Graduate School of Business, where he graduated with distinction as an Arjay Miller Scholar..
