Michael Thomas is a Principal at BayPine. Previously, he was an Associate at Madison Dearborn Partners, where he focused on potential investments in businesses across a broad spectrum of industries, including business services, financial services and technology.  Mr. Thomas began his career in the Investment Banking Division of Morgan Stanley where he advised clients across the industrial, automotive, consumer and media sectors.

Mr. Thomas currently serves on the boards of Harbor and Penn Foster Group.  Mr. Thomas holds a BBA from the University of Notre Dame and an MBA from Harvard Business School.
