Michael Thomas is a Managing Director at BayPine. Previously, he was an Associate at Madison Dearborn Partners, where he focused on potential investments in businesses across a broad spectrum of industries, including business services, financial services and technology.  Mr. Thomas began his career in the Investment Banking Division of Morgan Stanley where he advised clients across the industrial, automotive, consumer and media sectors.

Mr. Thomas currently serves on the boards of Harbor, Penn Foster Group, and Relation Insurance.  Mr. Thomas holds a BBA from the University of Notre Dame, where he graduated summa cum laude and is a member of Beta Gamma Sigma, and an MBA from Harvard Business School, where he graduated as a Baker Scholar.
