John Wang is an Operating Partner at BayPine. He brings more than two decades of experience partnering with management teams to drive value creation and transformation in companies across healthcare, consumer, business services, industrials and hospitality. His work has focused on due diligence and post-acquisition value creation to drive operational scalability, manufacturing and supply chain improvement, and technology-enabled process transformation.

Prior to joining BayPine, Mr. Wang was a Managing Director of Portfolio Operations at L Catterton, supporting the firm’s Buyout and Growth strategies. Earlier in his career, he worked with portfolio companies at Centerbridge Partners, advised consumer and retail clients at Kearney, and held product design, manufacturing engineering, and quality roles at General Motors.

Mr. Wang holds an M.B.A. from Harvard Business School and a B.S. in Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering from Cornell University.
