Ali Heron is an Operating Partner at BayPine, where she works with deal teams and portfolio company leaders on technology diligence, product strategy, platform modernization, and AI-enabled transformation. She brings more than two decades of experience identifying business needs and translating them into new products, technology capabilities, and scalable solutions across software and information services, financial services, and consumer businesses.

Prior to joining BayPine, Ms. Heron was Managing Director, Digital Transformation at GrowthCurve Capital, where she led technology-enabled value creation across the investment lifecycle. Previously, she served as Chief Technology Officer at Petal and Prism Data and held senior technology leadership roles at Two Sigma, HBO, and Microsoft.

Ms. Heron is an Executive in Residence at NYU Stern School of Business and previously served as an Adjunct Faculty Member and Entrepreneur in Residence at NYU Tandon School of Engineering. She holds B.S. and M.S. degrees from Johns Hopkins University and a TRIUM Global Executive M.B.A. from NYU Stern, the London School of Economics, and HEC Paris. She is a named inventor on 16 patents.
