BOSTON—January 5, 2023—BayPine LP (“BayPine”), a private investment firm that drives digital transformation in market-leading businesses, today announced that it has promoted four individuals across its investment and operations teams. Michael Thomas has been promoted to Principal, William Feng and William Lederer have been promoted to Senior Associate, and Laura Salmon has been named Controller.

- Michael Thomas joined BayPine as a Vice President in September 2019. Previously, he served as an Associate at Madison Dearborn Partners, where he evaluated potential investments in businesses across a broad spectrum of industries. He began his career in the Investment Banking Division of Morgan Stanley.
- William Feng joined BayPine as an Associate in July 2022. Previously, he served as an Associate at Brightstar Capital Partners and as an Investment Banking Analyst at Evercore. He began his career as an Analyst in the Private Equity Group at Goldman Sachs.
- William Lederer joined BayPine in August 2021. Previously, he served as a Private Equity Associate and Analyst in the Infrastructure Group at Blackstone, where he focused on buyout transactions and minority investments in the transportation and telecommunications sectors.
- Laura Salmon joined BayPine as an Assistant Controller in July 2021. Previously, she served as a Senior Accountant at Centerbridge Partners. She began her career as a FSO Assurance professional at EY.
